Select pine is a grade of pine, just above #2 pine. What it means is that the pine has fewer and smaller knots in it, and each of those knots is tight.

All of our pine products come fully sanded with routed edges and counter sunk bolts, washers and nuts. The included hardware is made from durable zinc plated steel. We also offer the option to upgrade to stainless steel hardware.

Select pine readily accepts all kinds of paints and stains, so you can add splashes of dynamic color to your home. In fact, paints and stains help protect your furniture from harsh outdoor elements. We recommend that select pine be stained or painted every 1-2 years to preserve its life. We can even apply the stain for you. For an additional cost of 20% we will apply two coats of Wolman redwood stain/sealer. Your product will arrive stained and ready to enjoy!
