While the rest of the bridge is crafted from #1 grade southern yellow pine, many prefer the look of red cedar with fewer knots and a wood grain that is more even and warm in color. This option will cover the pine beams of your bridge with a beautiful cedar wrap that offers a more luxurious look.
Since pine is just slightly stronger than cedar, this option gives us the best of both worlds: a more stylish appearance with the additional strength of pine lumber beneath it.
Note: We recommend re-applying stains once a year, or at least once every 2 years, to keep your wood looking fresh and new for as a long as possible.
