Many of our customers claim that our Classic Fanback Glider has a powerful magnetic field. Apparently, these productive, hard-working people, on the way to their jobs, grocery shopping, and, in one case, a grandmother's 100th birthday party, have been inexplicably pulled into the glider, where they experienced total relaxation, and an uncontrollable urge to shirk all responsibilities! Since we use only Red Cedar and zinc plated hardware to construct it, we have no explanation for this. We do, however, have this bit of advice – enjoy!

Easier Assembly than I'd Imagined

Took about an hour working at a slow pace to do the assembly. Beautiful glider and works flawlessly. I immediately sat on it on our new all cedar porch and took in the scenery of the mountain opposite. It's comfortable with or without the excellent fitting (optional) cushion.

Cedar Glidder

It was a gift. They loved it, in fact the man wants it in his Living Room in front of his fireplace for the winter. There were other couples at the event and many of them want one too.

It was shipped promptly and easy for me to assemble. I only made one mistake with bolt size that I had to redo. Thank you.

Beautiful Product; Great Service

It's hard to describe how much I am enjoying sitting on my back deck with my wife, enjoying our view from this glider. It's lovely to look at, and works smoothly and easily. It's a beauty.

Service and Delivery Comments:
I ordered the stain and sealer, and when the glider arrived I wasn't sure if I got it. I wrote to Customer Service to ask about it, and your representative agreed to take a picture of some stained and unstained wood so I could compare and see the difference. I had the stained parts; I just didn't know how to recognize it. I really love that Fifthroom went the extra mile to help me learn about the product and understand what to expect.

Excellent product

I chose this glider because of its looks great and because it looked like it would be kind to those with back issues. I was right. The seat has a slight dip toward the back, with a slight rise under the thighs. This makes it easier to get out of. I believe the weight capacity is about 400 lbs. I bought this for people who are rather heavy set(finger's crossed). It is very light and it comes in 2 separate packages; seat and back in 1 box, the rest in a smaller box.It was relatively easy to put together but it did require some thought as the pictures/drawings were meant for a different glider. (This is the reason for the 4 stars).It is a great looking piece of outdoor furniture and it is nice to experience a gentle rocking motion on a cool summer's day.
