Coolest Barn Mailbox

We purchased this Barn Mailbox as a replacement for our old Barn Mailbox. This mailbox is by far better made than our old one. Our old one was built around a standard metal mailbox. The sides were extremely thin so started deteriorating in short order. On the other hand the Fifthroom.com mailbox is built with much better material and workmanship. It is actually a real wooden box and the quality is unsurpassed. We absolutely love it

Everyone loves it!

We are so delighted with our new Barn Mailbox. Yesterday a group of highschoolers stopped in their tracks and took photos of it with their cell phones. It has been a total hit on the block. It also serves as a good reference point: When people say which is your house? I say the one with the cute barn mailbox and they immediately know which one it is. The wood is sturdy and that design charming, highly recommend.

Large barn mailbox

The large size accommodates magazines but is almost too big/deep unless you are expecting bigger packages. We polyurethaned the roof and box. The quality of the wood for the box itself isn't high quality but hopefully it will last ok. It is attractive and our postal carrier was thrilled.

I love my mailbox

My barn mailbox is very attractive and well-made. It brightens up my front yard. It has not leaked during the heavy rains we have had recently, and its appearance has not changed yet. My old mailbox looked stained and dirty all the time. Whatever was falling on it doesn't seem to affect the cedar mailbox. I highly recommend CedarStore.com to anyone wishing to have a charming, but sturdy mailbox that seems to be able to withstand the elements.

My Barn Mailbox is Toooooo Cute

I Adore the barn mailbox. Construction is good, but the door closing mechanism didn't keep the door shut. I replaced it with a magnetized cabinet door clasp. Personally, I lost about two hours of personal time fixing it, plus the cost of the magnetized cabinet door mechanism. I estimate that it would have cost approximately $100 if I had hired a carpenter to come to the house and repair it.I hope that you (the barn mailbox folks) will seriously consider changing the closure mechanism to a strong magnetized system. (Please be sure you align it correctly or your customer will have to spend time adjusting it. And our time is valuable!
